Your design consultation
Dragons, koi, masks and flowers can be part of a Japanese-inspired tattoo, but the background and direction of the design also shape the result. Tell us which motifs matter to you and where you want the tattoo. The consultation considers how the composition follows the body, including which details should be visible from different angles.
For a sleeve or another large project, discuss the intended coverage and any existing tattoos before starting. Bring references for the overall feeling rather than separate images that must all fit unchanged. We can assess how the main subject, background and open spaces relate to one another, then agree the artist and plan the appointments around the scope of the piece.
