Your design consultation
Blackwork uses black ink and the areas of skin left between shapes to build a clear composition. Tell us whether you prefer a graphic motif, an ornamental arrangement or an illustrative piece. We consider the silhouette as well as the smaller details, especially where a design follows the arm, leg or another curved part of the body.
Send the approximate dimensions and photographs of any neighbouring pieces. This helps the team discuss spacing, transitions and the overall balance. If you are planning to extend the work later, mention that during the first consultation so the design can take the larger project into account. We agree the artwork, suitable artist and appointment details before booking.
